What volunteers will require ..

Important: The following may not be a complete list at the time of publication, and are likely to be updated from time to time as our needs and requirements change.

  • An in-depth knowledge of popular content management systems (CMS) and administrative functions
  • Knowledge of HTML and embedding/shortcode usage
  • A good eye for proportional, clear and balanced content and visual layout
  • Experience of posting correctly formatted content/articles
  • Ability to use online news syndication such as Google Alerts and MailChimp
  • Ability to meet our standard copy format
  • An understanding of basic accessibility & copyright law
  • Able to meet appropriate/reasonable deadlines
  • Ability to use and manage social media (Twitter, Instagram & Facebook etc)
  • A commitment to fundamental human rights
