The National Mikey Powell Memorial Family Fund has unveiled some ambitious plans for the future. It is hoped that the new initiatives will be rolled out over the next 3 years.

The National Memorial Family Fund launches its new funding stream called the Crisis Family Fund on 1 March 2021 in partnership with the United Families & Friends Campaign (UFFC).
We are extremely pleased to announce the second round of National Memorial Family Fund grants (as well as the UFFC Children’s Christmas Gift Fund) which open for applications from 7 December 2020.
We are seeking volunteers from the UK and abroad to assist with our various online services. This is particularly because later this year we may be losing two of our current key volunteers that have supported us for almost a decade.
We are extremely pleased to announce that the National Mikey Powell Memorial Family Fund have appointed Catalyst 4 Change CIC to organise a series of national events (subject to current COVID-19 restrictions).
Birmingham based Enterprise, Let’s Go Wellbeing (LGW), featured the National Family Fund as the beneficiary of all proceeds from one of their fitness programmes launch events held on 29 June 2020.
We are very grateful to Birmingham based Enterprise, Let’s Go Wellbeing, for dedicating all proceeds from one of their fitness programmes launch events to support families affected by deaths in custody in the UK.
Initially triggered by a Tweet from Oonagh Ryder (@oonskie) and subsequent follow-up Tweets by Lucy Brisbane McKay (@lucybrisbane) and others, we saw a very welcome flurry of donations on 28 May 2020.
