Mourners have gathered for the funeral of a prisons campaigner who was found dead near her daughter’s grave. Pauline Campbell, 60, originally from Whitchurch, Shropshire, was found dead in Malpas, Cheshire, on 15 May.
The 4WardEver Campaign UK in collaboration with Migrant Media (Makers of the film INJUSTICE) have set up a memorial site in remembrance of Pauline Campbell, a tireless campaigner against deaths of women in custody since the tragic death of her daughter Sarah in 2003.
Prisons campaigner Pauline Campbell has died, the advice group Inquest said today. Mrs Campbell, from Whitchurch, Shropshire, became a member of the organisation after her daughter, Sarah, 18, died of drug overdose at Styal prison in 2003.
