Remembering Michael Bailey 9 years on

This March 24th, 2014 marks 9 years since the tragic death of Michael Bailey in HMP Rye Hill. In 2007 Four prison officers charged over the death of Michael were cleared. Daniel Daymond, 23, and Samantha Prime, 29, both of Rugby, and Paul Smith, 39, from Warrington, were cleared of manslaughter by gross negligence.

Joey, 23, found hanged in prison cell

Joey Corcoran, 23, from East Ham, was remanded in June accused of burglary, driving while disqualified, theft and dangerous driving, and was set for trial next month. stayed in a single cell on B Wing, but on September 15 he was found hanged with bed sheets in his cell.
