National Family Fund website to be launched in 2019
Campaigning news collective, 4WardEverUK, is to launch a new website in 2019 to raise both awareness and funds for an initiative inspired by Mikey Powell, who died in police custody on 7th September 2003.

Family celebrate lasting legacy as ‘Seni’s Law’ receives Royal Assent
Today the Mental Health (Use of Force) Bill has received Royal Assent in Parliament, eight years after the death of Seni Lewis. Known as Seni’s Law, the Bill will increase protections and oversight on use of force in mental health settings.
Black Panther Party co-founder Elbert Howard, 80, dies in Santa Rosa
Elbert “Big Man” Howard, a founding member of the Black Panther Party in Oakland and for the past decade a Sonoma County human rights activist and jazz/blues radio host, died Monday in Santa Rosa.

Deaths of black men in custody pose challenge on ‘Stephen Lawrence level’
