Dorian died after being taken to a NHS MH hospital against his wishes. There has still not been a comprehensive police investigation into his death in ‘suspicious circumstances’.

Statement from Dorian’s Mother:

Dorian was born free and equal in dignity and rights but in the last week of his life he was hounded, terrorized, tortured and taken by British government police, working in collaboration with NHS staff. He did not survive many hours of their ‘custody and treatment’ in the locked hospital mental health system.

My beautiful, innocent and defenceless son Dorian was ‘discovered’ on the floor of their NHS hospital room by a member of staff beginning the morning shift at 07:00 hrs on 25.08.08. Immediately the alarm was raised although by this time Dorian had been dead for many hours.

He had been brutally asphyxiated and in addition there were many ‘unexplained’ injuries to his head and body. The hospital Observation Chart shows that the five staff on duty were between them allocated checks on the patients at fifteen minute intervals from 21:15 hrs to 07:00 hrs.

The police view was ‘suicide’ in spite of the fact that Dorian loved life and has never once threatened suicide, attempted suicide or been suicidal. To date the police have not properly investigated all the circumstances surrounding my son’s death, how his injuries occurred, and many other matters.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that my son was heinously murdered, and all the vicious, cruel perpetrators have yet to be brought to justice.

My Tribute to Dorian (whose name means ‘Gift’)

Dorian will forever be the centre of my universe
The apple of my eye, my only child, the perfect son
A precious ‘Gift’ who gave purpose and meaning to my life
Bringing such happiness and joy
With his lovely smile I will miss him always
Dorian fulfilled and exceeded all my dreams and expectations
And made me proud to be his mother

A truly good and wonderful person, thoughtful and kind
Dorian would help others if he could
He loved his family and the companionship of friends
Knowing really well how to laugh and have fun
Yet he was hardworking, determined and independent
Dorian was also intelligent and ambitious
With many hopes and plans for the future

When hospitalised Dorian was vulnerable, calm and brave
He sought help in the face of so much injustice and malpractice
That in such a short time led to the tragedy
Of his young life being so brutally cut short
For the sake of the memory of my beloved son Dorian
I will strive to uncover the truth and fight for justice.

“You’re a Really Brilliant Mum” – Dorian’s words from our last conversation

“I do not self-harm, I never have self-harmed and I would never ever do that” – Dorian’s words only hours before his life was cruelly ended.

Further detail will be added as developments come to our attention!
