The charity INQUEST (which provides a specialist, comprehensive advice service to bereaved people, lawyers, other advice and support agencies), are currently recruiting to an interim paid vacancy for at least 2 or 3 months.
ROLE: Interim Caseworker
The Casework Team provides specialist casework advice and support to bereaved families and individuals following a contentious death in statutory settings or through multi agency failings requiring an inquest and investigation. The team is made up of 5 Caseworkers, the Grenfell Project Coordinator, and 2 Casework Assistants.
The successful candidate will have experience of advice provision relating to inquests and related investigations, possess outstanding communication and organisational skills and will enjoy working in a very fast paced environment. S/he will adhere to INQUEST’s values, not least equality and diversity and our commitment to tackle racism and discrimination.
