The death of the former footballer Dalian Atkinson after being Tasered by the police in Telford has prompted renewed concern about police use of the weapon. There have been at least 17 deaths linked to the use of Tasers since 2003.

Korryn Gaines becomes latest black woman lost in police shooting
Baltimore police went to serve warrants at the home of 23-year-old Korryn Gaines for failure to show up in court regarding a traffic violation, and allegedly a man staying in the home had a warrant for assault.
