The family of a teenager who died after being detained by police are holding a vigil in his memory.
Grieving relatives of 18-year-old Mzee Mohammed want to hold a public show of support following the tragedy, which unfolded in Liverpool ONE on Wednesday evening.
Today’s event is set to begin at Lime Street station around 1pm before moving towards the spot where he collapsed.
Mzee was detained by officers and security staff in Liverpool ONE following reports he was behaving erratically and had been seen with a knife, police said,
Video, revealed by the ECHO, showed the 18-year-old being restrained on the floor, while motionless, with his wrists still handcuffed.
