On 3 December 2015 we screened a series of shorts made by Mental Health Practitioners Red Earth bringing their StereoHype Event to The Drum for an evening of film, poetry and music that challenges mental health stigma and discrimination.

Spoken Word and Performance Poetry: by Poetic Essence a collective of young Midlands performers supported by the SteroHype Sound System.

Part of Red Earths’ StereoHype initiative, Inna Vision is a series of shorts made by film makers with lived experienced of mental health. This powerful mix of documentaries, animations and fictional narratives addresses the stigma, struggles and triumphs of UK based Africans and Caribbean’s living with mental health problems.

Supported by live performances of Spoken Word and Poetry provided by Poetic Essence a collective of young Midlands based performers and musicians supported by the jazzy and soulful sounds of the SteroHype Sound System.
