On 9 July 2015 we screened ‘Concerning Violence‘ narrated by Ms Lauryn Hill, ‘Concerning Violence’ is both an archive-driven documentary covering the most daring moments in the struggle for liberation in the Third World, as well as an exploration into the mechanisms of decolonization through text from Frantz Fanon’s The Wretched of the Earth.

To date, Dogwoof have released a huge range of award-winning and highly popular films including The Age of Stupid, Food, Inc. and Blackfish.

Their films have won numerous awards, most recently a BAFTA win for Best Documentary for Joshua Oppenheimer’s extraordinary, ground-breaking The Act of Killing.

They will be releasing the companion piece The Look of Silence in 2015.
