RAPAR (Refugee and Asylum Seeker Participatory Action Research) is a Manchester-based human rights organisation working with people, both locally and further afield, who are at risk of having their rights denied. Founded in 2001 by a group of volunteers, RAPAR is still run on an entirely voluntary basis by local and displaced people from all over Greater Manchester.

West Midlands Police & Crime Commissioner
Bob Jones was elected the first West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner in November 2012, and named Yvonne Mosquito to be his Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner. In March 2013, Bob agreed his first Police and Crime Plan, which sets out his police and crime objectives, and the policing that he wants the Chief Constable to provide.

Our program services make it possible for women to obtain work, housing, and health care; to rebuild their families; and to participate fully in civic life.
Justice 4 Grainger
On 3 March 2012 Anthony Grainger was shot and killed by a police officer from Greater Manchester Police. Anthony was sat behind the wheel of a parked car in Culcheth, Warrington when a squad of armed police surrounded the car, a police marksman shot Anthony in cold blood through the windscreen killing him immediately.

This website was originally started so that Jonny would have a forum to tell his story. He relates to his reader his experiences as he was arrested as a juvenile, held in solitary confinement, his experience with the justice system and his questions regarding our United States justice practices.
