Two police officers filmed making insulting remarks about a man who later died in custody will keep their jobs despite being found guilty of misconduct. Lloyd Butler, from Tile Cross, died aged 39 at Stechford police station in August, 2010 after being arrested after his family called 999 due to concerns about his behaviour while drunk.

The Independent Commission on Mental Health and Policing is currently carrying out a consultation in the form of an online survey. The Commission was established in September 2012 by the Metropolitan police in response to the inquest verdict into the death of Sean Rigg in police custody.
A young man died in a prison cell at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court after taking cocaine and drinking alcohol an inquest has ruled. Adam Bosson (24) of Goddard Crescent, Wisbech, died in a cell at the court on February 20, 2008, minutes after being checked on by staff.
