How many echoes of this exist. Quite a lot here in the West Midlands for a start. In some cases the police attitude needs to be brought into question when they harass people with no criminal record but provoke a reaction by outrageous behaviour where they end up in court. I have just received a letter from another family in Wolverhampton which once again focusses on the notorious Bilston Street Station (just by the tram stop). Once men and women (particularly young and black) get into this position they are at risk. Clinton McCurbin, Mikey Powell, Kingsley Burrell. Once there was a report on David Bennett which led to Delivering Race Equality which led to ……..a catalogue of more deaths with families asking the same questions. Even more remarkable is that no one ever is responsible or accountable.

This is a great step forward for the family in their fight for answers and justice in Sean’s name. My family are there with them (if not physically) in that unbreakable bonds that give us a sense of unity and strength.
