Call for inquiry into death in custody

Protesters in Sydney have called for an independent inquiry into the death of an Aboriginal man in police custody in Alice Springs. Around 50 people rallied outside the NT Tourism office in Sydney on Wednesday calling for an end to the controversial intervention policy which they say led to 28-year-old Terrance Briscoe’s death.
