Forensic Science Technician
Forensic Science Technician is created and maintained by Fred Seems and Terry Lundell. They created this site in an attempt to provide individuals who were considering becoming a forensic science technicians with unbiased and straightforward information about what the process entailed, some subtle differences between types of forensic science degrees, as well as career and salary information.
National Black Police Association
The NBPA works to place the Association at the heart of the Police Agenda. They do this by taking forward initiatives for the Progression of minority officers and staff; such as mentoring schemes, natural born leadership programme, women in policing projects. The NBPA has a high Profile within the Home Office and Government Strategic Committees. They hold bi-lateral monthly meetings with the Minister.
Freedom from Torture
Each day, staff and volunteers work with survivors of torture in centres in Birmingham, Glasgow, London, Manchester and Newcastle – and soon a presence in Yorkshire and Humberside – to help them begin to rebuild their lives. Sharing this expertise with partner organisations in the UK and internationally, Freedom from Torture operates as a centre of learning and knowledge in the care, treatment and protection of torture survivors.
The Society of Black Lawyers
Established in 1969, they have two primary objectives: (1) to work towards the elimination of racial discrimination within the legal profession, which prevented people from ethnic minority communities from accessing legal education and training opportunities; and (2) to work towards the achievement of true equality of opportunity and equal access to justice for all people from minority ethnic communities through the provision of effective legal representation, advocacy, education and leadership.

Operation Black Vote
At its core Operation Black Vote exists to ensure we have greater racial justice and equality throughout the UK. They work specifically, but not exclusively within the democratic and civic framework to deliver OBV objectives. They seek to inspire BME communities to engage with public institutions in order to address the persistent race inequalities faced in areas such as: education, health and employment.
