The United Families & Friends Campaign is a coalition of families and friends of those that have died in the custody of police and prison officers as well as those who are killed in secure psychiatric hospitals.

The 16th event took place on Saturday 25th October 2014 – 12.30pm

Rally & Procession – Oct 2014Families and friends of some of the thousands of people killed in police custody, prison, psychiatric units and asylum and immigration centres gathered alongside supporters, students, activists, trade union representatives and concerned members of the public to voice their anger, sadness and frustration with the lack of justice received by the families of those murdered by the state.
Rally & Procession – Oct 2013The 2013 (15th) annual demonstration took place on 26th October in London and was attended by over 250 people. Those in attendance included relatives of Mark Duggan, Thomas Orchard, Sean Rigg, Roger Sylvester, Anthony Grainger, Joy Gardner, Olaseni Lewis and many more.
Rally & Procession – Oct 20124WardEver UK commends the United Families & Friends Campaign for pulling off a successful and peaceful rally and demonstration in London on Saturday 27th October 2012 in Central London. Hundreds of families, friends and supporters attended the event including Defend the Right to Protest, Linton Kwesi-Johnson, 4WardEver UK, Birmingham Strong Justice4All, INQUEST, Black Mental Health UK and many others.
Rally & Procession – Oct 2011Once again, this year, like every year hundreds gathered for the annual march against deaths in police custody in Britain. Most of those here are family members who say they have lost loved ones at the hands of the police. Like the family of Sean Riggs who died on 21 August 2008. A 40-year old musician, he was arrested in the street by four officers and taken to a nearby police station.
UFFC Gathering – Oct 2010The United Family and Friends Campaign (UFFC) staged a protest march from Trafalgar Square to Downing St today. They are brought together by a common bond of allegedly having had a friend or family member die in police custody. London, UK on 30th October 2010.
UFFC Gathering – Oct 2009Families of those that have died in police, prison and psychiatric custody held their Annual Remembrance Procession on Saturday 31st October 2009. Although numbers were small as there was no official organising of this, the 11th year of the march,families that attended were determined to continue.
Rally & Procession – Oct 2008The Annual United Families & Friends Campaign commemorating 10 years of struggle! Hundreds of people have died in custody in Britain over the last 30+ years. A disproportionate number of these were African-Caribbean men.
Rally & Procession – Oct 2006Over 200 people turned up at the annual London event to remember and demand justice for those who have been killed in police custody, prisons and mental health institutions.
