Die Verenigde Gesinne & Vriende veldtog is a coalition of families and friends of those that have died in the custody of police and prison officers as well as those who are killed in secure psychiatric hospitals.

4WardEver UK commends the United Families & Friends Campaign for pulling off a successful and peaceful rally and demonstration in London on Saturday 27th October 2012 in Central London. Hundreds of families, friends and supporters attended the event including Defend the Right to Protest, Linton Kwesi-Johnson, 4WardEver UK, Birmingham Strong Justice4All, Geregtelike doodsondersoek, Black Mental Health UK and many others.
Once again, this year, like every year hundreds gathered for the annual march against deaths in police custody in Britain. Most of those here are family members who say they have lost loved ones at the hands of the police. Like the family of Sean Riggs who died on 21 Augustus 2008. A 40-year old musician, he was arrested in the street by four officers and taken to a nearby police station.
The United Family and Friends Campaign (UFFC) staged a protest march from Trafalgar Square to Downing St today. They are brought together by a common bond of allegedly having had a friend or family member die in police custody. Londen, UK on 30th October 2010.
Families of those that have died in police, prison and psychiatric custody held their Annual Remembrance Procession on Saturday 31st October 2009. Although numbers were small as there was no official organising of this, the 11th year of the march,families that attended were determined to continue.
