Both Eyes Blind

CAUTION: some graphic scenes!

The Tribunes hail from Salford, Bradford, London and Derby via Kinshasa… their philosophy is to stand with the oppressed against the oppressor. “…no nation that oppresses another can itself be free.” Suggested Marx. The Tribunes agree…

Deeds are not measured in words but in action and commitment… The Tribunes use every opportunity through their music, to join the struggle with others against war, neo-liberalism, racism, sexism, homophobia… and fascism – all the horrors of the capitalist system.

Injustice CD: sounding the alarm over deaths in police custody
The Tribunes were involved in the recording of a new CD released by the people behind the 2001 film Injustice that told the story of families seeking justice for deaths in police custody.

Both Eyes Blind – The Tribunes
The Tribunes are a fiercely political up-and-coming jazz act. They combine music with spoken words to create what band member Gary Duke describes as “a head-on collision between The Streets and John Coltrane.”
