|Art & Soul||Art & Soul 'Voices from Death Row' was a small event with a big spirit, and everyone who attended was touched by the messages of hope and solidarity that affected all that were present.|
|Families United4Justice||Families and campaigners gathered in Leicester to pay tribute to those that had died in custody. The day marked what would have been the forty-fifth birthday of Mikey Powell, who died in September 2003 in police custody.|
|From Ferguson to Birmingham||Defend the Right to Protest supported by 4WardEver UK, BirminghamStrong Justice 4 All, BEMA, Campaign 4 Justice for Kingsley Burrell; with the generous support of The Drum Arts Centre presented ‘From Ferguson to Birmingham’ on 28 January 2015.|
|INJUSTICE & MOVE screenings||Indymedia Birmingham, in conjunction with the Mikey Powell Campaign, screened Injustice, and a short filmed interview with Ramona Africa of the US based MOVE group.|
|Injustice CD Launch||On the stage in the small upstairs bar of Catch 22, right in the centre of Hoxton, Pat Coker, the mother of Paul Coker, shakes with rage, “We will go on fighting! Until the day we die."|
|Mikey Powell Family Memorial||Family & friends of the Mikey Powell campaign held a commemorative event on the third anniversary of his death in police custody, and to help promote the new Sounds of Injustice CD.|
|Mikey Powell : A decade of struggle||The family and friends of Mikey Lloyd Powell commemorated his life 10 years after his death at the hands of West Midlands Police by holding a candlelit vigil and an inspirational after-event at the African Caribbean Millennium Centre.|
|Moving Forward Together||The event bought together families and artists including renowned poet Benjamin Zephaniah, cousin of Mikey Powell, to help launch a major new campaign, and share their stories.|
|National Fathers Day Vigils 2012||On 17th June 2012 people gathered at peaceful vigils to remember fathers that have died in police, prison, mental health and immigration detention. These nationally organised peaceful vigils took place simultaneously at a number of other locations across the country.|
|Together We Are||This was a vibrant night of live music, arts and poetry commemorating the death of Mikey Powell, who died in police custody in September 2003, and in support of Tony Egbuna Ford, an innocent black man awaiting a death sentence in Texas.|
