Celf & Soul ‘Voices from Death Row’ was a small event with a big spirit, and everyone who attended was touched by the messages of hope and solidarity that affected all that were present.
Teuluoedd ac ymgyrchwyr a gasglwyd yn Leicester i dalu teyrnged i'r rhai a oedd wedi marw yn y ddalfa. The day marked what would have been the forty-fifth birthday of Mikey Powell, who died in September 2003 after being detained by police in Birmingham.
Indymedia Birmingham, in conjunction with the Mikey Powell Campaign, screened Injustice, and a short filmed interview with Ramona Africa of the US based MOVE group.

Teulu & friends of the Mikey Powell campaign held a commemorative event on the third anniversary of his death in police custody, and to help promote the new Sounds of Injustice CD.
The event bought together families and artists including renowned poet Benjamin Zephaniah, cousin of Mikey Powell, to help launch a major new campaign, and share their stories.
