In remembrance of those killed and abused in custody in the UK and internationally.

Kati ya 1969 na 1999 over one thousand people died in police custody in the UK alone, not counting deaths in prison and psychiatric institutions. No one has ever been convicted for any of these deaths. Over the last 30+ years a disproportionate number of these deaths were African-Caribbean men. A similar pattern is also evident worldwide.
