Alex Kelly
Alex,alderen 15, was found unconscious in his cell at HMYOI Cookham Wood in Kent. Staff attempted to resuscitate him before he was taken to hospital where he died the following evening. Alex, who was serving a 10-month sentence for burglary, had been identified as being at risk of suicide or self-harm, according to the Prison Service.

Jake Hardy
17-year-old Jake died in hospital after he was found hanging in his cell at a young offender’s institution in Wigan. A Prison Service spokeswoman said: “HMYOI Hindley prisoner Jake Hardy was found hanging in his cell at approximately 11.45pm on Friday 20th January 2012.

Wayne Douglas
I december 1995 Wayne, 26, died whilst being held at Brixton Police Station on suspicion of burglary. Police say he died after he had collapsed; a post-mortem later showed he had suffered from heart disease. A protest was held outside the police station which later escalated into riots in the Brixton area.

Anthony Grainger
36, year old Anthony was shot and killed whilst seated in a car by armed officers around 7.20pm on 3rd March 2012 in what Police say was a ‘pre planned’ operation. Family and friends still await answers as to why Anthony, who was later found to be unarmed at the time, was killed.

Faisal Al-Ani
43-year-old Faisal was arrested in Southend town centre on the evening of 31 Juli 2005 following a disturbance. CCTV footage has revealed how police officers carried a bruised and apparently limp Faisal into custody moments before he died on 31 Juli 2005, contradicting an initial statement by the investigating police watchdog that he had “walked into the police station” and then collapsed.

Dwayne Browne
A police officer fatally shot Dwayne who was armed with a .38 calibre revolver as he was coming to the aid of his stepbrother following a gunpoint robbery. 26-year-old Dwayne Browne emerged from his East New York row house with a gun in hand.

Robert Ricks
23 year old Robert Rick died after he was tasered whilst in the custody of the Alexandria (Los Angeles) police at Rapides Parish Jail on February 5th 2011. Robert’s Grandmother, Maxine Jones, had called 911 for medical assistance for Robert as he was having a seizure.

Shantel Davis
Den 14. juni 2012, 23 year old Shantel was shot and killed by a Brooklyn police officer after police say she was driving erratically, run a number of red lights and hit a minivan. The car Shantel was driving was thought to be stolen according to NYPD spokesman Paul Browne.
