Youths on Death Row:

Napoleon BeazleyNapoleon Beazley
Napoleon had no prior criminal history and was just 17 years old at the time of his offense. He was sentenced to death for murder. There had been a call for his sentence to be commuted to life in prison – it was denied.

Reggie Clemons
Many of Reggie’s claims have never been heard in a court of law because of procedural rules that have barred the presentation of important evidence. After reviewing the evidence, two federal judges voted to overturn his death sentence and found that Reggie was denied a fair trial. But Reggie’s sentence of death remains.

Save Michael Perry

Scott Hain
Scott was 17 years of age at the time of his arrest for the murder of Michael Houghton and Laura Sanders. Because he was a juvenile at the time of his crime, his execution would be contrary to American standards of justice.

T.J Jones
Jones, 25, was executed by lethal injection on 8th August in Huntsville, Texas for the carjacking murder of a 75-year-old man.

Toronto Patterson
Toronto had no criminal record and who was just 17 years old at the time of his offense. He was executed by the state of Texas on 28th August 2002.

Adults on Death Row:

Brett HartmannBeunka Adams
Beunka Adams is a 27 year old black man imprisoned on Death Row for a crime that another man confessed to committing. Beunka was involved in a robbery in which a man was shot dead. His co-defendant admitted to the killing in his own trial. This information was suppressed at Beunka’s trial. The jury were told that he was the gunman and he was given the death penalty.

Brett Hartmann
Brett was arrested on September
10th, 1997 for the murder of Winda D. Snipes.  It was Brett whom discovered Winda and placed a series of 911 calls to report it.

Cameron Todd Willingham
He was innocent and Texas killed him. U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, in 2006, wrote that, in the modern judicial system there has not been “a single case–not one–in which it is clear that a person was executed for a crime he did not commit.

Charles Don Flores
Charles was arrested in may of 1998 for a robbery/slaying of which he is innocent. At the time of the crime, he was with his family and friends. Charles maintained his innocence and went to Jury trial in April of 1999. His court-appointed attorney did very little to prepare for trial.

Cleve Foster
Cleve’s ordeal began in February 2002 just two weeks after leaving the US Army.  He had spent his last tour in Forth Worth, Texas, as a Recruiter.

Darrell Lomax
Darrell is a death row inmate in the notorious San Quentin Prison (California). He has been waiting for 14 years to clear his name. His supporters are fighting, not only for Darrell’s ultimate freedom, but for his life.

Deadman Talkin’ is a series of columns, written by Dean Carter who is currently on death row, in San Quentin Prison.

Exonerate Jack
Jack Alderman stands accused of murdering his wife, Barbara in 1974, but has always maintained his innocence. His co-defendant and key witness who testified against him, was described as ‘exceedingly untrustworthy.

Free the West Memphis Three
Shortly after three eight-year-old boys were found mutilated and murdered in West Memphis, Arkansas, local newspapers stated the killers had been caught.

Howard GuidryHoward Guidry
When an 18-year-old African American from Abbeville, named Howard Guidry was arrested in Houston on a murder charge in 1995, he was not given the kid glove treatment that Enron criminals Ken Lay and Jeff Skilling have received.

Jay Masters
Jarvis was convicted of participating in the killing of a prison guard, Sergeant Howell Burchfield, despite the fact that he was in another part of the prison when the guard was killed.

Jimmy Dennis
As of September 1, 2008, Jimmy Dennis has been stolen from his family for a total of 6,129 days for a crime he didn’t commit.

John Alba
John has been accused of the fatal shooting of his wife Wendy; a crime in which the judge refused to allow the defence theory to be heard by the jury.

Kenny Richey
In June 1986, Kenny was arrested for a crime the evidence shows was not a crime at all. Since his conviction some months later, he has been sitting on death row, waiting to be strapped into ‘Old Sparky.’

Kenneth Foster
A San Antonio judge overturned the death sentence of Kenneth Foster in March 2005. He was convicted as the getaway driver in the 1996 murder of Michael LaHood Jr.

Jack AldermanRobert Will
Robert Will was not the first person wrongfully sentenced to death, nor will he be the last.

Rodney Reed
Rodney Reed has been on Texas death row since 1998 for a crime that he insists he didn’t commit. Lawyers for Rodney Reed have argued before the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals that he didn’t get a fair trial.

Samar Saed Abdullah
Sitting on Iraq’s death row is a 25-year-old woman convicted in the slayings of three relatives. She says her husband carried out the killings and fled. She confessed to being an accomplice, she says, only after being tortured in police custody.

Timothy Charles Davis
Court and prison records describe Timothy Davis as a passive and non-violent person with no prior criminal record. Convicted at the age of 17, he has spent over 28 years on Alabama’s Death row.

Tony Egbuna Ford
Tony Egbuna Ford has been incarcerated on Death Row in the State of Texas for 14 years based upon flimsy and inappropriately tested evidence.

Tony Medina

Troy Davis
On 26th September 2006 three judges made their ruling and denied an appeal despite seven key witnesses recanting their testimony. There is evidence that Troy did not receive a fair trial.
