FN: Familjer & Vänner kampanj (UFFC) calls for an independent judicial inquiry into all suspicious deaths in custody.

Den United Familjer & Vänner kampanj (UFFC) is a coalition of families and friends of those that have died in the custody of police and prison officers as well as those who died while detained under the Mental Health Act, in psychiatric and immigration detention. Den Oberoende rådgivande panel om dödsfall i häkte rapport som offentliggjordes i 2011 stater: totalt, det fanns 5,998 dödsfall registrerats för 11 år 2000 till 2010. Detta är ett genomsnitt av 545 dödsfall per år. Trots det faktum att det har varit 11 olagliga dödande domar sedan 1990 det har aldrig varit ett framgångsrikt åtal.

The communities response to this petition was poor (just 1,846 signaturer) but we move on with our initiatives, campaigning and lobbying nevertheless!
