In Remembrance of Benjamin Zephaniah


The networks of 4WardEverUK humbly pays respect to a giant of our time. May he rest in eternal peace.


Professor Benjamin Zephaniah (cousin of Mikey Powell), sadly died on 7 December 2023 aged 65. He passed away in the early hours of Thursday morning after being diagnosed with a brain tumour eight weeks before.

We particularly focus on and support the call for police, penal and mental health reforms, for an end to custody deaths, killings or abuse, wrongful convictions and the brutality of torture, genocide and capital punishment.
