Campaigners vow to keep up the pressure to protest all injustices
“an important opportunity to ensure that community issues drive policing in the West Midlands.” Doreen Lawrence, Founder of the Stephen Lawrence Trust.
A WMPCC representative said; “We want communities in the West Midlands to have trust and confidence in their local police. Our levels of reported crime are at a historic low, but we all need to see we are being served by an efficient and fair police in order to feel safe within our neighbourhoods.
“We would like to invite you to our Trust and Confidence Summit to discuss how we can devise solutions together to improve trust and confidence for all our diverse communities.”
Wednesday 13 March 2013, at Tally Ho! Conference Centre, Pershore Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham B5 7NR.
Registration 9 am, event starts 9.30 am
