PCs Maurice Leigh and Neil Bowdery are to appear in court in connection with the death of Colin Holt, who died from positional asphyxia at his home in Gillingham, Kent, på 30 August 2010. Thank you, 4WardEver UK. I follow and report brutality and killings of mentally ill people in the USA at my blog Dog Justice for Mentally Ill http://DogJusticeforMentallyIll.blogspot.com . I try to post news and viewpoints to decriminalize mental illness at my Care2 site “Assistance to the Incarcerated Mentally Ill,” but censorship has taken over our 300 medlemmer’ ability to publish freely there. As you probably know, treatment in hospitals and community care programs would negatively impact prison profits, so our advocacy is intensely monitored and censored. Please sign and share a petition for freedom of press/free speech for human rights advocates in the USA at http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/free-mary-neal/ If we are disallowed the opportunity to speak for physically, mentally handicapped people, that is sad.

Gee, they actually prosecute police officers for killing mentally ill people in the UK? Mentally ill Americans do not usually get DOG JUSTICE (the level of justice that is applied to canine murders). I virkeligheden, authorities sometimes collude to cover-up police murders of Americans with mentally illness. See Wrongful Death of Larry Neal website at http://WrongfulDeathOfLarryNeal.com

Thanks Mary, That’s cold stuff! Even here it is rare, in fact since 1969 there has only been one notable case where officers have actually been successfully prosecuted and sent to prison.
We also recently featured the case of Kelly Thomas, another US victim: http://4wardeveruk.org/2012/08/video-of-thomas-beating-was-shown-at-preliminary-hearing/
