Jake Michael
Jake Michael, vo veku 25, died on 22nd August 2011 after being taken to Runcorn police station. Officers from Cheshire police were called to Lacey Street, Widnes, at around 5.15pm on Monday after reports of a “disturbance” at a house. Officers also used pepper spray.

Gail Kinchin
11júna 1980 witnessed a police tragedy when West Midlands officers shot a pregnant young girl while she was being held hostage. Gail Kinchin was taken hostage by David Keith Pagett, the abusive, violent and controlling father of her unborn child.

Christopher Wardally
Christopher, 25, was pronounced dead after he was discovered by staff at Wandsworth Prison on 12th June 2009. Staff tried to resuscitate him, but he died at the scene. The Prisons Ombudsman soon launched an investigation into the death.

Mark Duggan
Mr Duggan, 29, was shot by officers on 9th August 2011 in Tottenham, Londýn. Mr Duggan, whose shooting by police sparked London’s riots, did not fire a shot at police officers before they killed him, the Independent Police Complaints Commission said.

Michael Sweeney
The IPCC is investigating after a father-to-be died in police custody following an apparent altercation at a pub in east London. Friends of Michael Sweeney, 38, said he was in the Approach tavern, in Hackney, east London on Monday evening when police were called.

Sharon Bate, 41, was arrested in Bradford on alcohol-related matters on Monday 7 Júl 2008. She was taken to Bradford Custody Office and detained, but later collapsed in her cell. She had been in custody since 4.30pm the previous afternoon.

Dorian died after being taken to a NHS MH hospital against his wishes. There has still not been a comprehensive police investigation into his death in ‘suspicious circumstances’.

27 year old Dale Burns, on died 16th August 2011 after being shot with a Taser by police in England. The incident occurred last night when police were called to a flat in Barrow where the victim, who lived in the premises, was allegedly causing a disturbance.

An arrest that ended in the death of a mentally ill homeless man in Fullerton had residents outraged and city officials looking for answers. On the night of July 5 [2011], Fullerton police responded to reports that a man was trying to get into parked cars.

Baha Mousa, a 26-year old hotel worker from Basra, Iraq, died following an “appalling episode of serious gratuitous violence” by British soldiers in “a serious breach of discipline,” is what a public inquiry concluded. Zomrel 36 hours after being taken into custody.

Anthony Graves
Anthony Graves was released from a Texas prison on 27th October 2010 after Washington-Burleson County District Attorney Bill Parham filed a motion to dismiss all charges that had resulted in Graves being sent to death row 16 years previously.
