The inpatienta 57-year-old manwas found unresponsive on a ward at Wexham Park Hospital following the attendance of the police officers who were called to a disturbance.

Ifølge den uafhængige Politi Klager Kommissionen, medics had been forced to call for police help as the hospital’s own security staff struggled to deal with the man.

Two officers, who were already at the hospital in Slough, Berkshire, raced to the ward and restrained the man in the early hours of the morning. Dog, he was found dead at the hospital less than an hour after the ‘disturbance’.

A post mortem examination has taken place on the dead man’s body but the Independent Police Complaints Commission has not revealed the findings.

A monthly vigil like the one that took place on Friday 27 Jan 2012 outsiide Wexham Park Hosptal is the type of action that what we, as an all inclusive community, require more of to maintain our rights, and to obtain justice to prevent further serious procedural improprieties from being inflicted on those of us, who are unable and can least defend themselves, by the very same authorities who are charged with protecting, healing and keeping the public at large from harm…!
