The British Police agreed to pay £60,000 in damages to a man arrested during an anti-terror raid after High Court hearing.
Informazzjoni:
The High Court heard that Babar Ahmad was subjected to “serious, gratuitous, prolonged, unjustified violence” u “reliġjużi abbuż” wara l-arrest tiegħu. Ahmad was never charged following the dawn raid at his home, but he has been held for over five years without charge or trial in a high security prison. Roshan Muhammed Salih reports from London.
