Adam Rickwood & Le héros Medomsley

Soumis par Pie n’ Mash Films
5e Octobre 2009

It’s tragic the way our ‘civilised’ societies treat children in care, whether in the care of a religious or government institution. We’re currently investigating the brutal restraining techniques used in UK Young Offenders Institutions and Childcare homes.

Bill Maloney and Pie ‘n’ Mash Films have been working on a documentary with 22 men who were all sexually abused by senior prison office ‘Neville Husband’ back in the 70s and who are now in the process of taking the Home Office to court.

We also discovered that the youngest child in English custody Adam Rickwood (14) committed suicide at the same detention centre only four years ago.

We have interviews with Adam’s family who do not believe he committed suicide and with four of the men who were abused back in the 70s at the same centre. Ligatures and torture techniques were used!

Please take a few minutes to view the trailer for ‘Adam Rickwood & The Medomsley Heroes’: (Caution: Video contains strong language)

If we all pull together we CAN make a difference.

These ARE the Medomsley Heroes >

My son was recently in Hassockfield aged 14 ..(2009) where on several visits I found him to be battered and bruised from restraining techniques acquired from between 4-6 grown menhead rubbed face down against carpets causing friction burn to his face etc etc.. So really think nothing much has changed there and never will until some other helpless teenager chooses to end his pain.. Bullying power happy ***** !!!!

I was a victim of N.Husband, out with all the other victims; I am going it alone I have given up the right to anonymity to bring him to justice. I was at medomsley serving 9mths DC in 1983, as other victims have stressedwho would believe meas the governor was his friend, why have came forward now?

Through shear coincidence I was writing a brief on stress when I came across the release of husband, I live in Glasgow always have done got 9mth York crown court for smash & grab whilst visiting Scarborough, I have given lengthy statements to Strathclde police in conjunction with Durham police, who arrested Husband and questioned him on the offences against myself, no comments replied he was released on police bail to attend the station to sign in whilst living in a bail hostel.

I am 45 a Health and Safety co-ordinator for a major company throughout Europe, if anyone can give me support.
