New Cross Fire: 13 Dead Nothing Said

After the deaths of 13 young black people in a fire in New Cross which to this day remains unsolved the black community was outraged by the indifferenet reaction form the police and the government. In March of that year a march of 15,000 titled Black Peoples Day of action took place between New Cross and Central London.

This group has been set up in remembrance of the 13 young black people that died in the notorious New Cross Fire in London, UK.The New Cross Fire was a devastating house fire which killed 13 young black people during a birthday party in New Cross, southeast London on Sunday January 18, 1981.
