Jamie and Gladys Scott
Jamie and Gladys Scott have been wrongfully convicted of armed robbery and received double life sentences each. The transcripts state that 9, 10 or 11 dollars was stolen. Witnesses confessed during the trial, that the sheriff coerced and threatened them to lie on the Scott Sisters. They have been in prison for 14 years.

Oscar Grant
“We won’t rest until we have honoured Oscar Grant by winning justice for his family and ending police brutality in Oakland.” Those were the words of Dereca Blackmon, one of the principal organizers of a rally and march of nearly 1,000 people on 7th January 2009, to protest the killing of 22-year-old Oscar Grant early on New Year’s Day by police in Oakland USA.
